Christmas is around the corner, and walking through the streets at night you can see all the glowing soft light from people's front rooms. Decorating our homes at Christmas is definately a big part of the magic of this time of year for so many people, but it's fair to say kids would have rooms full of magic all year round if they could!
Tivoli Dreams
Save the Children have teamed up with H&M HOME to do just that - creating a collection of spectacular and fun details for your kids room with a magical twist. H&M Home and H&M Kids Clothing designed 21 items for the collection “Tivoli Dreams” which launched on Thursday, November 18 online and in stores in nearly 30 countries.
Gigantic teddy bears sit a candy cane coloured tables sipping from pastel striped tea cups, canopys like big tops are hung above beds, and the stage is set for their latest puppet show. There's soft toy dumbells and master of ceremony style pjs to add to the circus performer feel, with everything just a little bit larger than life. All perfect Christmas presents designed for fuelling kids’ imaginations.
Creating brighter futures
We know children are particularly affected by world crises. 10% of the sales price of the H&M HOME x Save the Children collection will be donated, giving children of crises-affected countries a chance to have the childhood they deserve, working to stop child labour, protect children in conflict zones, and help those who have gone through traumatizing experiences.
“Every child deserves a magical childhood,” Save the Children said in a statement. “We will use the money to strengthen our work to give more children a safe childhood. Children should never, ever, be subjected to violence, abuse or be exploited in harmful work.”
Customers in H&M Home Concept stores in selected countries – Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and the UK – will also be encouraged to add a small amount to purchases at the checkout during a two week period after the launch.
