TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE LEAP MAILING FREE PRIZE DRAW

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • The Promoter is The Save the Children Fund a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (178159) and a registered charity in England & Wales (213890) and Scotland (SC039570) with registered office 1 St John’s Lane, London, EC1M 4AR.

ELIGIBILITY

  • All UK residents are eligible to enter, excluding employees of the Promoter. 
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
  • Number of entries permitted to one entry per person. Only the recipient of the mailing can enter the prize draw.

JUDGING

  • Winner will be chosen at random from all supporters for whom we have received an eligible response card from by midnight on 11/11/2024. The resulting decision shall be final. The draw will take place by midnight on 15/11/2024.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • To be entered into the free prize draw you must fill out the enclosed response card with your name and email address, tick the box which indicates you’d like to enter the prize draw, and return it to us via post.  
  • The competition closes at midnight on 11/11/2024.

THE WINNER

  • There will be one (1) winner of the competition for the prize available.
  • The winner will be notified by email within 30 days of the notified closing date. If the winner doesn't respond within 48 hours to confirm that they wish to claim their prize, or if the winner confirms that they do not wish to receive the prize, the promoters reserve the right to draw an alternate winner (also at random)
  • The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

PRIZE

  • The prize is a complete set of our new Doodle retail range. More information can be found at savethechildren.org/shop. The Doodle range includes:

    • Colour in Doodle pencil case with pens
    • Doodlebugs Sweetie Jar
  • The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
     
  • The winner must provide a suitable address in the UK for the item to be posted. 
  • The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the prize components is conditional upon compliance by the winner with these rules. The winning entrant may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the prize.

GENERAL

  • The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall the Promoter be liable to the winner for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this competition and/or the prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of the Promoter.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these terms and conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on this page.
  • As a condition of entering the competition, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the competition unlawfully.
  • We are obliged to make the winner’s name available if requested. We will therefore use the winner’s surname and country to do so if asked. If you object to your data being used in this way, please contact [email protected]. Please note that the Promoter must still provide the winner's information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency on request even if you object to such information being shared more widely.
  • Details of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter within 30 days from the relevant closing date.  
  • This competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
