1. By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. All UK schools and nurseries are eligible to enter.
4. One entry is permitted per school or nursery.
Judging
5. To enter, a school needs to sign up to this year’s Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper day by Friday 6th December
Entry Requirements
6. A school must complete the Christmas Jumper day sign up form and register to take part in this year’s Christmas Jumper Day for Save the children UK. The sign up form can be found here: Fundraise for Christmas Jumper Day.
7. The competition opens at 00:00 23rd August and closes at 23:59 Friday 6th December 2024.
The Winner
8. There will be one (1) winner of the competition for the prize available.
9. The winner will be notified by email within 21 days of the competition closing date. If the first school does not respond/accept the prize after three weeks from notification, a second school will be pulled at random and notified. After one month from the date the second winner is notified, if no winner has accepted the prize, we will consider the unclaimed prize a donation that belongs to Save the Children UK.
10. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Prize
11. The prize is 1 set of 12 illustrated children’s books for 4 to 10-year-olds from Save the Children UK’s Wonderbooks range, worth £108.
12. No cash alternative can be substituted.
13. Prize is non-transferable without Promoters permission
14. The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the prize components is conditional upon compliance by the winner with these rules. The winning entrant may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the prizes.
General
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall the Promoter be liable to the winner for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this competition and/or the prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of the Promoter.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these terms and conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted here: www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day/wonderbooks-competition-2024
17. As a condition of entering the competition, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the competition unlawfully.
18. Entrants may be required to participate in publicity without further consent or payment, such publicity including without limitation the entrant’s name, entry or any information provided by the entrant. This information may be used by the Promoter in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world as the Promoter sees fit.
19. We are obliged to make the details of the winner available if requested. We will therefore use the winning school’s name and country to compile this list. If you object to your data being used in this way, please contact [email protected]. Please note that the Promoter must still provide the winners' information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency on request even if you object to such information being shared more widely.
20. The details of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter within 30 days from the relevant closing date.
21. This competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
