Help children get what they urgently need

Christmas and childhood go hand in hand. But around the corner and around the world, children are going without the very basics they need.

Millions of children aren't waiting for gifts. They're waiting for food, shelter, warm clothes and a safe place to play.

Via aid trucks and aeroplanes, donkeys and drones, our dedicated teams deliver fundamental assistance to children in more than 100 countries, so they can have the right to childhood – not just at Christmas, but every day of the year.

Stockings on the bed - the magic of something appearing during your sleep!

Louise Boyce

I LOVED going to my friend Joanna’s house on Xmas Eve but I also LOVED the magic of Xmas Eve and putting my stocking at the end of my bed. I’d always wake up in the middle of the night when it was dark and I’d feel the full stocking at the end of my bed and then somehow go back to sleep with a lovely feeling of being loved by Father Christmas - I’ll never forget it

Every Christmas Day for as long as I can remember, Mum and Dad would pull my sister and I away from our presents and take us to the river. We’d jump into the freezing river as a family, then hurry home to warm up by the fire with hot chocolate. It’s a very special (and chilly!) family tradition that we’ve always had.
