17 Oct 2024 Global

Responding to the Minister for Development, Anneliese Dodds’ speech at Chatham House, Dan Paskins, Executive Director of Policy, Advocacy & Campaigns at Save the Children said:

“The Minister for Development, Anneliese Dodds set out four key priorities that we welcome and support. The focus on international financial reform and action on unsustainable debt are both particularly positive, laying a solid foundation to build on.

“What’s required now is a clear roadmap to ensure these priorities are translated into tangible change. Children tell us they know that without meaningful investment and action, their futures remain at risk. It’s imperative that the government maintains this momentum and ensures these ambitions become a reality for children living in the world's toughest places."
