Terms & Conditions

  1. By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. The Promoter is The Save the Children Fund a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (178159) and a registered charity in England & Wales (213890), Scotland (SC039570) with registered office 1 St John’s Lane, London, EC1M 4AR.

Eligibility

  1. All UK schools are eligible to enter. Registrants entering on behalf of a school must be 18 years or over.

  2. One entry is permitted per school.

  3. Registrants must sign up under the ‘School / Youth Group / Nursery’ category in order to be entered.

  4. In order to guarantee inclusion into the correct prize draw, schools should include their setting type in their school name.

  5. Due to age restrictions on the prizes, nurseries will not be eligible for either prize draw.

Draw 

  1. Winners will be selected at random from all primary and secondary school registrations that are submitted between 00:00 on 20th June 2025 and 23:59 on Monday 1st December 2025.

Entry Requirements

  1. A school must complete the Christmas Jumper day sign up form and register to take part in this year’s Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children UK between 00:00 Friday 20th June 2025 and 23:59 Monday 1st December 2025.

    Schools that register after this cut-off will not be eligible. The sign up form can be found here: https://jumpers.savethechildren.org.uk/ 

     

  2. The prize draw opens at 00:00 Saturday 20th June 2025 and closes at 23:59 Monday 1st December 2025.

The Winner

  1. There will be two (2) winners of the prize draw for the first prize available: One (1) secondary school and one (1) primary school. 

  2. There will also be 20 runner-up prizes: 10 for secondary schools and 10 for primary schools.

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to reward additional winners at a later date.

  4. The winner will be notified by the email used to register within 21 days of the prize draw closing date. If a prize winner does not respond/accept the prize within three weeks from notification, that winner will forfeit the prize and another winner will be pulled at random and notified. After one month from the date the other winner is notified, if no winner has accepted the prize, we will consider the unclaimed prize a donation that belongs to Save the Children UK.

  5. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

     

Prize

  1. The first prize for primary schools is a day of Aardman Model Making Workshops, which includes 3 x 1 hr sessions with 60 children per session – suitable for ages 6+

  2. . The first prize for secondary schools is a day of Aardman Animation Workshops, which includes 2 x 1.5hr sessions with 30 children per session – suitable for ages 8+.

  3. The runner-up prizes specified in term 12 for both primary and secondary school winners will be an Aardman themed board game, RRP £24.99. Full details of the runner-up prizes will be confirmed by 30th September 2025 and posted on this webpage.

  4. We reserve the right to change the nature and value of the runner-up prizes until they are officially confirmed (via publication on this page).

  5. For the first place prizes, each winning school will have until 11th December 2026 to redeem their prize. 

  6. Both first place prizes will be delivered in person, and will require a suitable sized space. The secondary school prize will require the school to have access to around 6 tablets or smartphones capable of downloading the ‘Aardman animator app’ which is compatible with IOS devices IOS 12.1 or later, and all Android devices

  7. No cash alternative can be substituted.

  8. Prizes are non-transferable without the Promoter’s permission.

  9. The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the prize components is conditional upon compliance by the winner with these rules. The winning entrant may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the prizes.

     

General

  1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winners if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall the Promoter be liable to the winner for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this prize draw and/or the prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of the Promoter.

  2. The Promoter reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these terms and conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted here: https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day/about/Aardman-School-Prize-Draw-Terms

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to reward additional winners at a later date.

  4. As a condition of entering the prize draw, entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way if any entrant enters the prize draw unlawfully.

  5. Schools may be required to participate in publicity without further consent or payment, such publicity including without limitation the school’s name, entry or any information provided by the school. This information may be used by the Promoter in any and all media in perpetuity throughout the world as the Promoter sees fit. 

  6. We are obliged to make the details of the winner available if requested. We will therefore use the winning school names and country to compile this list. If you object to your data being used in this way, please contact [email protected] . Please note that the Promoter must still provide the winners' information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency on request even if you object to such information being shared more widely.

  7. The details of the winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter within 30 days from the relevant closing date.

  8. This prize draw and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
