Trusts
We are keen to build relationships with trusts and foundations that are interested in our work and share our vision for children.
If you are a trustee or have links with a charitable trust, please get in touch.
What a difference trust support makes!
In the last year, donations from trusts have directly supported our work to:
- provide children in Somaliland with a basic primary education
- help children in Honduras and Guatemala find alternatives to child labour
- improve the lives of children affected by HIV and AIDS in Cambodia.
How your trust could help
We have a dedicated team who will help find a suitable Save the Children project or programme that could directly benefit from trust support. For example:
-
£500 would buy five bicycles that could be used as 'mobile libraries' for children living in poor suburbs of Albania's capital, Tirana
-
£2,000 would provide a community nurse in Ghana with a motorbike to help her to reach 10,000 children a year
-
£20,000 would pay for equipment such as wheelchairs, walking frames and crutches for over 400 disabled children as part of a community-based rehabilitation project in Sri Lanka
-
£100,000 would give 100 children working in the glass industry in India access to basic health services and help them to develop new skills and learn about their rights.

Case Study: The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund
In 2005, The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund chose to support our work in the Côte d'Ivoire.
"Focusing on young women and girls used as soldiers or otherwise involved with armed conflict, the project addresses an often-neglected area of concern. There is excellent interaction with the beneficiaries and a sound framework for monitoring an evaluation."
