Save the Children's Iron Woman takes on the Monster

Save the Children's very own Iron Woman, Andrea Priestley, won the First Monster 'Iron Challenge' on Saturday, a solo duathlon around the banks of Loch Ness.

Wednesday 17 September 2008

The Help Yourselves Programme Manager completed the gruelling 125km in eight hours - a 45km run and an 80km bike ride. Andrea was one of only four contestants to take up the challenge alone and the only female competitor.

All of the money raised by First Group from the Monster challenge will go towards Save the Children's work on UK poverty.
